Sam darling,

I didnt know you that well, but i knew you to say hello to. There is one big thing that i will always remember you for and that is your beautiful big smile. its gawjus :) your smile will live on in everyones hearts til the end of time. I cant believe what has happened and i know everyone is deeply gutted about it and will miss you forever. I am devestated so i cant even imagine what your close friends and family are feeling.
Now you are up there with the other angels which sadly include peter pringle,but i know you two will be having a right laugh at us from up there. you's will be having a right good party..or i hope so anyways :) Its true when they say God only takes the best. R.I.P. Sam Ryan Gattens

Sam, it is an honour to call you my friend, i will miss you loads, whenever i set foot on a golf course i will think of you. The NNJGA is not the same without you, you will be missed hugely, not just by me,but by everyone who new you and had the priviledge to be shown how to play golf by you. You never had a bad wod to say about anyone. I have some memorys tht will stay with me forever.

R.I.P Sam, Sleep tight Angel

I don't know what to say Sam, you were a lovely lad who deserved the world at your feet. Your inspiration and great outlook on life has made myself and many people relise that life is to enjoy and there isnt time to waste. To take someone full of potential who could give back to the world, well basically i dont know what that man upstairs was thinking. He better have a good explanation when its our time, like at alnmouth beach, we should watch for flying golf balls! I knew u had a sence of humour Sam so i know its okay to joke with u, but at the same time tell u how devastated everyone is that you've left us. The send off where going to give u tmoro is going to be unreal and everyone is going to put there backs into it. Cya sometime in the future and i know that u may not be here in the flesh, but your out there watching. Love you and sleep tightt angel. xxxxx
